About Ring Engraving

About Ring Engraving - Engraving Information

You've picked out your perfect wedding rings, but why not make them even more special? Consider engraving them with your own personal message! Engraving adds a unique touch, turning them from just wedding rings into your wedding rings. At Larson Jewelers, we offer the most engraving options, with a wide range of fonts and symbols, all done with high-tech lasers from Germany for precision and clarity.

What is Laser Engraving?

Laser engraving, though called so, actually involves burning your message onto the ring's surface. It's available for any metal and offers versatility in fonts and symbols. Custom designs are also possible with the right file format.

Will the Engraving Scratch off?

The durability of an outside engraving depends on the metal's hardness. Soft metals like gold may wear away over time, but hard metals like tungsten maintain their engraving. Inside engravings are virtually permanent.

Why Laser Engraving is Easier to Read?

Laser engraving darkens the metal, making it stand out more. However, traditional engraving, with its depth, remains easily readable.

Where Should I Engrave My Ring?

Most opt for inside engraving for privacy, but some prefer outside engraving for visibility. The choice depends on personal preference and ring width.

What's the Cost for Engraving?

Standard Text Engraving costs $30 for up to 30 characters. Both inside and outside engravings count separately. We offer a variety of fonts at no extra charge.

Do You Do Custom Engraving?

We can engrave symbols, pictures, or even handwriting. Handwriting and Fingerprint engravings cost $50. Custom image engravings cost $75. For anything else, contact us for a quote.

By adding a personal touch through engraving, your wedding rings become even more meaningful, reflecting your unique bond and love story.
